Alta
Known for deep powder and superb terrain, Alta is a definite locals favorite! A great powdery environment, less expensive lift tickets and close proximity to Salt Lake City make Alta one of Utah's premier resorts. Located at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, Alta promises beautiful scenery and panoramic views from its slopes. Alta is located 25 miles southeast of Salt Lake City at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, State Highway 210, approximately 45 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport.
Beaver Mountain
Beaver Mountain Ski Resort's excellent runs, friendly atmosphere and low prices make it a popular destination for locals - some say it is one of Utah's best-kept secrets. It has been family-owned and operated since 1939, making it the oldest continuously owned family ski area in the US. Downhill skiing and snowboarding are major winter activities but there are also excellent cross-country ski and snowmobile trails nearby. Beaver Mountain is located 27 miles east of Logan, Utah, and 12 miles from Garden City, off Highway 89.
Brian Head
Brian Head Resort is southern Utah's premier winter destination. With the highest base elevation in Utah, Brian Head Resort receives over 400 inches of famous Utah powder annually. The resort features Utah's highest base elevation at 9,600 ft. The resort offers over 650 acres, with eight chairlifts and 71 runs. Located in Dixie National Forest, Brian Head Resort is only a three hour drive from Las Vegas, NV and four hours from Salt Lake City, UT.
Brighton

Deer Valley

Eagle Point
A once popular ski area since it opened in the early 70s and operated until 2002 as Mt. Holly and, later, Elk Meadows, Eagle Point Resort was reintroduced to the public in 2010. Discover 600 skiable acres and 40 runs and getaway from the crowded slopes and high prices of the big resorts. Eagle Point is a scenic 3.5 hour drive from Las Vegas or Salt Lake City.
Nordic Valley

Park City Mountain Resort

Powder Mountain

With diverse terrain for beginner easy to challenging expert runs, Snowbasin boasts 3,000 skiable acres and is located 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City.
Snowbird
As a full-service resort, Snowbird focuses on both recreation and relaxation. A number of diverse restaurants, festivals, and retail opportunities give guests a full mountain community experience. Exciting mountain biking and hiking trails are among the popular summer activities available. Snowbird is just 30 miles from Salt Lake International Airport.
Solitude
With over 1200 acres of skiable terrain and 500 inches of annual snowfall, Solitude offers 65 named trails, three bowls, and groomers for skiers and boarders of all ages and skill levels. Sundance
Intimate and rustic by design, Sundance differs from other resorts in more than size. Founded by Robert Redford in 1969, Sundance Resort is located on 5,000 acres of wilderness at the base of Utah's picturesque Mt. Timpanogos. Sundance offers the perfect getaway, conveniently located, yet a world away. Sundance is located just 55 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport and 45 minutes from Park City.
