Joe Averett

Joe Averett

Director of Marketing - Salt Lake City, UT

A native of Arizona, Joe came to Utah to study Visual Arts and Graphic Design at the University of Utah and Brigham Young University. During college, he pursued jobs in the graphic design field, which led him to working for several small printing and prepress companies in downtown Salt Lake City. He was later hired by Prudential Utah Real Estate, a relatively new brokerage in the Utah market, and worked there for several years before becoming the marketing director for Lance May & Associates, the #1 Realtor along the Wasatch Front. After Lance May decided to retire from the business, Joe was hired back as the Marketing Director for Prudential Utah Real Estate, where he managed the marketing for the company of over 500 agents with multiple developments in Salt Lake City and along the Wasatch Front.

In 2010, Joe accepted a position as the Marketing Director for Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, with responsibility over Park City, Salt Lake City and the St. George markets. In the role of marketing director, he is responsible for the company’s strategic marketing efforts and the delivery of marketing materials, tools and resources for 100+ sales associates in offices throughout the state. Joe is responsible for all company marketing, advertising, public relations, Internet and intranet communications. He has led the redesign of the Summit Sotheby's International Realty website, www.summitsothebysrealty.com, which re-launched in 2012 with the goal of redefining how consumers search for real estate. The website now serves as an integrated marketing solution for the company and provides a consistent, high-quality experience for consumers, allowing them to search for a home in a variety of ways, including by lifestyle. Joe also spearheaded the creation of the official Summit Sotheby’s International Realty YouTube channel, agent intranet/portal, Rezora email marketing platform, and "Smart" Real Estate Market Reports. He has also acted as the art director of the Collections Magazine, a luxury lifestyle and real estate magazine published bi-annually by Summit Sotheby’s International Realty.

Izzi Magee

Izzi Magee

Marketing Coordinator - Salt Lake City, UT

Izzi is a proud Sonoma County/Northern California native who relocated to Salt Lake City in 2010. She began her career in graphic design nearly 20 years ago, after graduating from Santa Rosa Junior College with dual degrees in both Fine and Graphic Arts, and after receiving a three-year certificate in Applied Graphics. Izzi has designed for real estate professionals, Sonoma State University, San Francisco State University, national grocery chains, wineries, children’s magazines, and has won a number of awards, including an International 1st Place Award from In-Print Graphics magazine. She has been fortunate enough to work on both large scale projects, such as national conferences, as well as local community events and pro bono work.

As a member of the Summit Sotheby’s Marketing Team, Izzi has developed a super-human ability to clone herself in order to keep the pace needed in this field. Her clones have also helped in the arenas of lawn dart competitions, Extreme Ironing matches, and occasionally "recuperating" from the work hard, play hard lifestyle common amongst designers. Izzi also enjoys going to concerts, spending time quoting obscure movies and making people laugh with her youngest daughter, drag racing, and driving in fast cars.

Cheryl Bosh

Cheryl Bosh

Marketing Coordinator - Salt Lake City, UT

Cheryl, a Utah native, has always been an artist. Very early in her career, she sold real estate with her mother, Joan Smith, one of the first women real estate brokers in Utah. She soon found herself creating pen and ink drawings of her new listings to market them with beautiful flyers. Therefore, leaving real estate behind, she went to Salt Lake Community College where she studied illustration and graphic design, while maintaining her ranking on the Dean’s List throughout.

For more than 20 years, Cheryl has been a successful designer. She began in small design, typesetting, pre-press, and animation shop(s) as art director, then progressed to senior designer for both Ingenix (a subsidiary of United Healthcare) and Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah, with the focus of creating and maintaining their strong brands. During her tenure with Ingenix, she won the 1997 Golden Spike Award for newsletter creation, copywriting and design. A desire to develop her own design studio led Cheryl to launch a very successful freelancing career with clients such as: Franklin Covey, Listen Technologies, Mountain America, Legacy Learning, Children’s Museum of Utah, Huntsman Chemical, Merit Medical, AMSCO Windows, University of Utah, Key Bank and 3M Healthcare, to name a few. She has also been a member of The Grand Theatre Board of Trustees and has done numerous pro bono jobs for community events.

In March of 2007, Cheryl found her way back into the real estate industry when she took a position with Prudential Utah Real Estate as one of their graphic designers. Moving on to Windermere Real Estate in November of 2010, as their marketing director for Utah, Cheryl was a very integral part of launching their new office in the Union Park Center, which became hugely successful and is now their largest office in Utah. With real estate in her blood once again, Cheryl was thrilled when she was offered the opportunity to join the very best, Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, in 2013! She enjoys cooking, good movies, camping with family, friends and her 2 dogs, Madison and Bailey.

Kyle Jenkins

Director of Photography - Salt Lake City, UT

Photography is a hobby, job, and passion for Kyle. Whether it is hiking around Utah with his camera, or taking pictures of beautiful homes, he is having fun. Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, Kyle feels very blessed to have lived in two such beautiful places. He attended the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, where he used their unique academic style to travel the world and receive school credit. By the time he was 22 years old, he had traveled to 16 countries on four continents, including several months in northern India working with Tibetan refugees. It was on these trips that he first discovered his love and talent for photography.

Kyle currently lives at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon with his wife and their dog, Ginger. He could not be happier with his job as Director of Photography for Summit Sotheby’s International Realty. He considers Park City one of the best places he has ever been.

In the winter, Kyle can be found snowboarding at Brighton, and the rest of the year he loves to visit the unusual landscape of Southern Utah. Although he only moved here in 2005, he has explored much of the state, doing his best to see all the great things this place has to offer a photographer.
