Deer Vista Information and Lots for Sale

Overlooking the Jordanelle Reservoir with panoramic view of Park City ski resorts

Deer Vista is a community of 103 estate homesites located on more than 400 acres overlooking the Jordanelle Lake recreational area with a panoramic view of the Wasatch front, including vistas of Deer Valley, Park City, and Canyon Ski Resort.

Other than its use as an original homestead, this property has remained untouched and undisturbed. One of the area’s original settler families, Florence and Nadine Gilmore, owned the underlying property and thousands of surrounding acres as part of their ranch, which was established in the mid-1800s. Unlike many of the other properties in and around Park City, Deer Vista’s land was not touched by mining activity and remained environmentally undisturbed throughout its history. In planning the Deer Vista community, close attention was paid to the pristine quality of the land with the goal of maximizing its open space while at the same time providing each home site a unique view to enjoy the serene natural setting and endless mountain vistas, which are still predominantly undisturbed.

Deer Vista’s main gated entrance is located in Utah on Highway 248 approximately 2 ½ miles off of Highway 40. Deer Vista’s secondary entrance gate is located at the corner of Highway 248 and Brown’s Canyon. From the east, Deer Vista is located approximately one mile north of Jordanelle Recreational Lake heading on Highway 248 West. The property is located in Wasatch County on the border of Wasatch County and Summit County.
